In
simple language multiple sclerosis is an immune disease affecting the
brain and central nerves system. Whenever an attack occurs it causes demyelination in
those regions which affects the signals that pass through the human body. Once these nerves are demyelinated they leave a permanent scar in that specific regions. For e.g Cerebellum and so on. These scars are also called as lesions.
Depending
upon the presence of these lesions people may have trouble living with Multiple
Sclerosis. Some of the most common trouble living with MS are Muscle weakness,
blurred vision, difficulty in moving; difficulties with coordination and
balance (ataxia); problems with speech or swallowing, visual problems or double
vision, feeling tired, bladder and bowel difficulties.
